In 1976, José Saramago translated Étienne Fajon's "educational lecture," given in Marseille on May 12, 1975, and published in Portugal by Moraes Editores under the title "Union is a Battle." The book also includes texts by Maurice Thorez, Waldeck Rochet, and Georges Marchais.
