José Saramago Library Network
Created in March 2019, the José Saramago Library Network brings together five municipal libraries (Almada, Avis, Beja, Leiria, Loures and Odemira) and one from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, which bears the name of the Portuguese Nobel Prize, with the aim that they work together.
Convent Memorial Route
The Convento Memorial Route is a joint initiative of the Lisbon, Loures and Mafra City Councils and aims to “enhance the notoriety and attractiveness of the heritage and cultural resources of the municipalities and the places where the classified historic and architectural monuments are located” and “creating a supply of new niches for cultural tourism, with a focus on the literary component”.View website

The José Saramago International Chair at the University of Vigo was born on April 27, 2015, the date of the signing of the cooperation protocol between the University of Vigo and the José Saramago Foundation, signed on April 27, 2015. The general objective of the CJS it is the “study and diffusion of the work and thought” of the writer.View website
