«"Encounters with the Poetry of the World"»

The José Saramago Foundation will host the first Lisbon edition of "Encounters with World Poetry" on December 8th at 5:30 PM, with free admission. Following editions in Perugia, Assisi, Brasília, and São Paulo, it is Lisbon's turn to organize this event that brings together poets from different parts of the world to discuss their work and read their poems.

«"Encounters with World Poetry" brings together poets Ana Paula Tavares (Angola), Flávia Rocha (Brazil), Ketty Blanco Zaldivar (Cuba), Ozias Filho (Brazil), Pedro Estorninho (Portugal), Verónica Aranda (Spain), and Vera Lúcia de Oliveira (Brazil and Italy). The event is moderated by Joana Meirim (NOVA University of Lisbon).
