In 1958, Estúdios Cor published the translation of José Saramago's novel. Gigi by Colette. The book was included in the Latitude Collection, edited by Nataniel Costa, where several other books by the author would later be published.
The cover art was created by Paulo Guilherme.
The copy held in the José Saramago Foundation Library in Lisbon was donated by the PT Foundation in June 2015.
